Barry was born and raised in Southern California.  He attended Warren High School in Downey, California where he played football, basketball and volleyball.  He played one year of college football at Cerritos College.  He went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree at Biola University, and his Master’s degree at Azusa Pacific University.  He is married to Linda and they have five children. 

 

Barry has worked in youth ministries for over twenty years with junior high, high school and college aged youth.  He has served with numerous churches and Christian organizations impacting youth throughout Southern California.

 

Barry’s favorite hobbies involve “ESPN”; watching USC football, the Lakers and the Dodgers.  He still loves to play basketball, but considers walking away from a game of hoops uninjured, a victory. 

 

Barry has been on FCA’s staff since 2002, and serves as the Director of Ministries in Orange County.
